After agreeing a price and firing rules with a kiln owner, it's time to get your work dropped off at the kiln's location and get it fired. It's common kiln owners will run a test fire before firing up your work or may require a damage deposit.

Local potters who are interested in hiring space in your kiln will contact you. In your own time, you can discuss everything in more detail including what they want to fire, agreeing on a price, damage deposits, firing schedules and payment terms.
