We are a community ceramics studio in SE Portland.We have 5 KM-1227s that we fire regularly throughout the week.Our typical firings are a Bisque at 04 and a glaze at cone 6. We can also arrange a private kiln load with a custom firing – subject to availability and the overall kiln firing schedule.Bisque work must be bone dry when dropped off. Glaze should also be dry.Work is charged by the shelf and starts at $20 minimum per shelf, per firing. We recommend bringing as much work as possible to get the best value from each firing.Work must be dropped off in a box/container with your full name, contact email address, and the type of firing. A member of staff will also be around to recieve the work.Our drop off hours are from 10am to 5pm, Wednesday through Sunday.Once work is in the kilns, an invoice will be sent to you via email which lets you know how much space the work took up, the price, and that the pieces are in the kiln.
